Advancing Purposeful Giving Through Partnership

Philanthropy becomes more effective when organizations learn from one another and coordinate their efforts around common goals. These relationships can bring different perspectives, capabilities, and forms of support to the same social challenge.

The Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation’s partnership with Impact SG reflects this collaborative approach. It connects the Foundation’s work in education, skill development, women’s empowerment, and community support with a wider community of purposeful givers in Singapore and across the region. The partnership’s initial focus includes strengthening access to quality education for underprivileged children in Asia. 

The Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Impact SG, a Singapore-based charity that brings together individuals, families, and organizations committed to purposeful giving. The agreement provides a framework for the two organizations to develop philanthropic initiatives around shared areas of interest.

The MoU was signed at Temasek Shophouse during an event co-hosted by Impact SG and Farro Capital. Ms. Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, attended as Guest of Honour, alongside Impact SG Chairman Ravi Menon and representatives from philanthropic, public, and private-sector organizations.

Through the agreement, both organizations will explore initiatives that draw on their respective experience, relationships, and understanding of the communities they seek to support. 

The next stage of the partnership will focus on designing and delivering initiatives for children, education, and communities in need. The Foundation and Impact SG will work together to define the purpose of each initiative, direct support effectively, and establish appropriate ways to measure progress.

As these initiatives are developed, their impact will be assessed through the outcomes they create for the people and communities involved.
