Ghana and across Africa | Education and Youth Empowerment

Tertiary education shapes young person’s professional direction, personal independence, and ability to contribute to her community. Making the most of that opportunity requires consistent support throughout the years of study.
This initiative was created to help young aspiring students complete that journey with greater stability. By supporting each scholar for the full duration of her course, the programme allows them to concentrate on learning, participate in university life, and make informed choices about the future they want to build.

Through its partnership with Drive to Inspire – Africa, the Foundation covers tuition, accommodation, and related academic expenses throughout each scholar’s degree.
The scholars also participate in monthly mentorship and personal development sessions designed to support their growth during university. Internships and work experience opportunities introduce them to professional environments, allowing them to connect their academic learning with the careers they hope to pursue.
For select scholars, the partnership creates a pathway to international education. Those who secure admission to the University of Stirling’s Ras Al Khaimah Campus in the UAE may receive Foundation support to study there, subject to the university’s standard admission requirements.

For each scholar, the programme provides continuity throughout university and a stronger connection between academic learning and professional life. With access to mentorship and practical experience, scholars can develop their capabilities and prepare more purposefully for the transition from education to employment.
The support also benefits their families. With tuition, accommodation, and academic expenses covered, household resources can be directed towards priorities such as healthcare, housing, and the education of younger children.
Over time, the value of each scholarship will be reflected in the careers the scholars pursue, the families they support, and the knowledge and experience they contribute within their communities.
